Free Printable Monthly Calendar

A free printable monthly calendar puts one month on a page. This template starts as a Sunday-start Letter sheet. Switch the first column to Monday, add a column for notes, or enlarge the day boxes if you write long appointments.

When a monthly page is the right format

A monthly calendar is the usual wall sheet: seven weekday columns and enough rows for every date, including a leap-year February. The page is useful when you need to see the whole month at once—school events, paydays, or a shared kitchen plan. It is less useful when you need hour blocks; those belong on a weekly planner.

This monthly template always builds six-week rows. That keeps Saturday (or Sunday, on a Monday-start grid) on the paper instead of clipping the last column. Days from the previous and next month can stay visible in gray, or you can hide them for a cleaner wall print.

Letter paper is the default because most U.S. home printers load 8.5-by-11-inch sheets. A4 is one control away if the printer is set to that size. Portrait fits a classic wall month. Landscape makes each day wider, which helps if you write more than a word in a cell.

Optional U.S. holiday marks use the selected year. They are approximate civil dates, not a legal list. Turn them off for a plain grid. If you want lines for writing under the month, switch the layout type to a lined-notes month or pick the notes-column preset.

To print, keep the scale at 100 percent and confirm the paper size matches the control. The print style removes the site chrome and leaves the month. Save as PDF if you need a file to send, rather than a stack of Word documents this page does not produce.

Does February show 29 days in a leap year?

Yes. The grid uses the real length of the month, so a leap-year February includes the 29th and a common year stops at the 28th.

Can the month start on Monday?

Yes. Set Week starts to Monday. Saturday and Sunday then sit together in the last two columns.

How do I add a column for notes?

Choose Notes area → Side column, or start from the monthly-plus-notes preset in the gallery.
