One week of meals

Free Printable Meal Planner

A free printable meal planner is a week of empty meal slots. The default sheet starts on Sunday. Switch the first column to Monday if grocery day is Sunday night.

Four rows, seven days

The meal planner prints breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a snacks-or-prep row across the week that contains the date you pick. The cells are empty. The page does not invent recipes and does not download a grocery list as a separate file. Write the meals, then shop from the same sheet.

Sunday start keeps weekend brunch on the left. Monday start matches an office week. Saturday start puts the weekend first if that is when you cook in batches. The Week of field chooses which seven dates appear.

Landscape paper is the default because seven day columns need width. Portrait will squeeze the cells. If Saturday is clipped, set the print dialog to landscape and 100 percent scale.

A monthly calendar with a column for notes can hold a shopping list beside dates. Use that when the list is longer than a week. Use this planner when the question is “what is dinner on Thursday.”

Optional holiday marks can appear in the day header if you turn them on. They stay approximate U.S. civil dates.

Can the meal week start on Monday?

Yes. Set Week starts on to Monday, or to any other weekday.

Does the planner include recipes?

No. The slots are blank. The template prints the structure of the week.

How do I pick the week?

Set Week of to any date inside the week you want to print.
